Psalm 108
NIV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNew Living Translation
A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.1My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!
Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.2Wake up, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song.
I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.3I will thank you, LORD, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.
For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.4For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.5Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.
Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.6Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.7God has promised this by his holiness : “I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.8Gilead is mine, and Manasseh, too. Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings.
Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."9But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant, and I will wipe my feet on Edom and shout in triumph over Philistia.”
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will bring me victory over Edom?
Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?11Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?
Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.12Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless.
With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.13With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.
