Psalm 121
NKJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionInternational Standard Version
1A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help?1I lift up my eyes toward the mountains— from where will my help come?
2My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.2My help is from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.3He will never let your foot slip, nor will your guardian become drowsy.
4Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.4Look! The one who is guarding Israel never sleeps and does not take naps.
5The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand.5The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your right side.
6The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.6The sun will not ravage you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.7The LORD will guard you from all evil, preserving your life.
8The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.8The LORD will guard your goings and comings, from this time on and forever.
