Psalm 131
NKJV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionNET Bible
1A Song of Ascents. Of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me.1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me.2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore!
