Psalm 131
NKJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionInternational Standard Version
1A Song of Ascents. Of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I concern myself with great matters, Nor with things too profound for me.1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.
2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, Like a weaned child with his mother; Like a weaned child is my soul within me.2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.
