NKJV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionNew International Version
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. A Song. Praise is awaiting You, O God, in Zion; And to You the vow shall be performed.1For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song. Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.
O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come.2You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.
Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, You will provide atonement for them.3When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.
Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.4Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.
By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas;5You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
Who established the mountains by His strength, Being clothed with power;6who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,
You who still the noise of the seas, The noise of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.7who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs; You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice.8The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.9You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.
You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth.10You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.11You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.
They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, And the little hills rejoice on every side.12The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.
The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.13The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
