Psalm 126
NLT Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationKing James Bible
1When the LORD brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!1A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said, “What amazing things the LORD has done for them.”2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!3The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4Restore our fortunes, LORD, as streams renew the desert.4Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.6He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
