“Son of man, He said to me, “stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.” And he said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.” And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. Then He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.” He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”
And as He spoke to me, the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet, and I heard Him speaking to me. And as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me. And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. And as He spoke to me the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet; and I heard Him speaking to me. As he spoke, the Spirit came into me and raised me to my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.
“Son of man,” He said to me, “I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me. To this very day they and their fathers have rebelled against Me. And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to nations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day. And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. Then He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to a rebellious people who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have revolted against Me to this very day. He said: “Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me; they and their ancestors have been in revolt against me to this very day.
They are obstinate and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you are to say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’ The descendants also are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’ For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. So I am sending you to those who are impudent and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says:’ The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’
And whether they listen or refuse to listen— for they are a rebellious house— they will know that a prophet has been among them. And whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that a prophet has been among them. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. As for them, whether they listen or not—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been among them. And whether they listen or fail to listen—for they are a rebellious people—they will know that a prophet has been among them.
But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns surround you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their presence, though they are a rebellious house. And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions. Be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.
But speak My words to them, whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious. And you shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.
And you, son of man, listen to what I tell you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I give you.” “But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Be not rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. “Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth wide and eat what I am giving you.” But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”
Then I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and in it was a scroll, And when I looked, behold, a hand was stretched out to me, and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; Then I looked, and behold, a hand was extended to me; and behold, a scroll was in it. Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out to me. In it was a scroll,
which He unrolled before me. And written on the front and back of it were words of lamentation, mourning, and woe. And he spread it before me. And it had writing on the front and on the back, and there were written on it words of lamentation and mourning and woe. And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe. When He spread it out before me, it was written on the front and back, and written on it were songs of mourning, sighing, and woe. which he unrolled before me. On both sides of it were written words of lament and mourning and woe.
