A song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, be not silent; be not speechless; be not still, O God. O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God! A Song or Psalm of Asaph. O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God.
See how Your enemies rage, how Your foes have reared their heads. For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves. See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads.
With cunning they scheme against Your people and conspire against those You cherish, They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They make shrewd plans against Your people, And conspire together against Your treasured ones. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.
saying, “Come, let us erase them as a nation; may the name of Israel be remembered no more.” They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!” They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. They have said, “Come, and let’s wipe them out as a nation, So that the name of Israel will no longer be remembered.” “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”
For with one mind they plot together, they form an alliance against You— For they conspire with one accord; against you they make a covenant— For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: For they have conspired together with one mind; They make a covenant against You: With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you—

of Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, of Philistia with the people of Tyre. 8 Even Assyria has joined them, lending strength to the sons of Lot. Selah Asshur also has joined them; they are the strong arm of the children of Lot. Selah Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. Assyria also has joined them; They have become a help to the children of Lot. 9 Do to them as You did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the River Kishon, Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon, Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera and Jabin at the river of Kishon, Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,
who perished at Endor and became like dung on the ground. who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground. Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. Who were destroyed at En-dor, Who became like dung for the ground. who perished at Endor and became like dung on the ground.
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, And all their leaders like Zebah and Zalmunna, Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
who said, “Let us possess for ourselves the pastures of God.” who said, “Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God.” Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. 13 Make them like tumbleweed, O my God, like chaff before the wind. O my God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind. O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. My God, make them like the whirling dust, Like chaff before the wind. Make them like tumbleweed, my God, like chaff before the wind.
As fire consumes a forest, as a flame sets the mountains ablaze, As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze, As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; Like fire that burns the forest, And like a flame that sets the mountains on fire, As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
so pursue them with Your tempest, and terrify them with Your storm. so may you pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your hurricane! So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. So pursue them with Your heavy gale, And terrify them with Your storm. so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm.
Cover their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O LORD. Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O LORD. Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. Fill their faces with dishonor, So that they will seek Your name, LORD. Cover their faces with shame, LORD, so that they will seek your name.
May they be ever ashamed and terrified; may they perish in disgrace. Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace, Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: May they be ashamed and dismayed forever, And may they be humiliated and perish, May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.
May they know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, are Most High over all the earth. that they may know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth. That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. So that they will know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth. Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD— that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.
