Sing to Yahweh, All the Earth
(1 Chronicles 16:23–36)

1Sing to YHWH a new song;

sing to YHWH, all the earth!

2Sing to YHWH, bless His name;

give the news from day to day of His salvation!

3Recount among the nations His glory,

among all the peoples His wonders.

4For great is YHWH, and to be praised greatly;

He is to be feared above all gods.

5For all the gods of the peoples are idols,

and YHWH made the heavens.

6Splendor and majesty are before His face;

strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

7Give to YHWH, O families of the peoples,

give to YHWH honor and strength!

8Give to YHWH the glory due His name;

lift up an offering and come into His courts!

9Bow down before YHWH in the splendor of His holiness;

tremble before Him, all the earth!

10Say among the nations, “YHWH reigns!”

Surely the world is firmly set—it cannot be shaken;

He will judge the peoples with uprightness.

11Let the heavens rejoice

and let the earth be glad;

let the sea and its fullness roar!

12Let the field be joyful,

and all that is in it!

Then all the trees of the forest

will shout for joy, 13before YHWH,

for He is coming—

for He is coming to judge the earth!

He will judge the world in righteousness

and the peoples in His faithfulness.
