Good News Translation
Then the priest shall offer the sin offering and perform the ritual of purification. After that, he shall kill the animal for the burnt offering

the priest shall offer the sin offering, to make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. Afterward he shall slaughter the burnt offering;

The priest shall next offer the purification offering, thus making atonement on behalf of the one being purified from the uncleanness. After this the burnt offering shall be slaughtered.
