Psalm 121
HCSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleEnglish Standard Version
1A song of ascents. I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? 1I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. 3He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
4Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. 4Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD protects you; the LORD is a shelter right by your side. 5The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
6The sun will not strike you by day or the moon by night. 6The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. 7The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
8The LORD will protect your coming and going both now and forever. 8The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
