Psalm 121
HCSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNew Living Translation
1A song of ascents. I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? 1I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there?
2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!
3He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. 3He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. 4Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
5The LORD protects you; the LORD is a shelter right by your side. 5The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.
6The sun will not strike you by day or the moon by night. 6The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.
7The LORD will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. 7The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.
8The LORD will protect your coming and going both now and forever. 8The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
