Psalm 121
HCSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
1A song of ascents. I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? 1A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. 3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. 4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD protects you; the LORD is a shelter right by your side. 5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun will not strike you by day or the moon by night. 6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. 7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8The LORD will protect your coming and going both now and forever. 8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
