HCSB Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
For the choir director: with the flutes. A Davidic psalm. Listen to my words, LORD; consider my sighing. 1For the choir director; for flute accompaniment. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my groaning.
Pay attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for I pray to You. 2Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray.
At daybreak, LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly. 3In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.
For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with You. 4For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.
The boastful cannot stand in Your presence; You hate all evildoers. 5The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.
You destroy those who tell lies; the LORD abhors a man of bloodshed and treachery. 6You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.
But I enter Your house by the abundance of Your faithful love; I bow down toward Your holy temple in reverential awe of You. 7But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.
LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my adversaries; make Your way straight before me. 8O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.
For there is nothing reliable in what they say; destruction is within them; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongues. 9There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.
Punish them, God; let them fall by their own schemes. Drive them out because of their many crimes, for they rebel against You. 10Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.
But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them shout for joy forever. May You shelter them, and may those who love Your name boast about You. 11But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.
For You, LORD, bless the righteous one; You surround him with favor like a shield. 12For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
