Psalm 131
KJV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleEnglish Standard Version
1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.1O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.2But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
