Psalm 131
KJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleInternational Standard Version
1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.
2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.
3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.
