Psalm 131
KJV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNET Bible
1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.
3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore!
