Psalm 131
KJV Parallel HCSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleHolman Christian Standard Bible
1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.1A Davidic song of ascents. LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too difficult for me.
2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.2Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself like a little weaned child with its mother; I am like a little child.
3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.
