Psalm 131
NASB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995English Standard Version
1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.1O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.2But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
