Psalm 131
NASB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995King James Bible
1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.1A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
