Psalm 131
NASB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995International Standard Version
1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.1LORD, my heart is not arrogant, nor do I look haughty. I do not aspire to great things, nor concern myself with things beyond my ability.
2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.2Instead, I have composed and quieted myself like a weaned child with its mother; I am like a weaned child.
3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.3Place your hope in the LORD, Israel, both now and forever.
