Galatians 6
NASB Parallel HCSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT GRK]
New American Standard Bible 1995Holman Christian Standard Bible
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.1Brothers, if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so you also won't be tempted.
Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.2Carry one another's burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3For if anyone considers himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.4But each person should examine his own work, and then he will have a reason for boasting in himself alone, and not in respect to someone else.
For each one will bear his own load.5For each person will have to carry his own load.
The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.6The one who is taught the message must share all his good things with the teacher.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.7Don't be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap,
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.8because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.9So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up.
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.10Therefore, as we have opportunity, we must work for the good of all, especially for those who belong to the household of faith.
See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.11Look at what large letters I use as I write to you in my own handwriting.
Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.12Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised--but only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.13For even the circumcised don't keep the law themselves; however, they want you to be circumcised in order to boast about your flesh.
But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14But as for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me through the cross, and I to the world.
For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.15For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation.
And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.16May peace come to all those who follow this standard, and mercy to the Israel of God!
From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, because I bear on my body scars for the cause of Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.18Brothers, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
