Galatians 6
NASB Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT GRK]
New American Standard Bible 1995New International Version
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.1Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.2Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.
But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.4Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,
For each one will bear his own load.5for each one should carry their own load.
The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.6Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.11See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.12Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.13Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.15Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.
And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.16Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule--to the Israel of God.
From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
