Galatians 6
NASB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT GRK]
New American Standard Bible 1995International Standard Version
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.1Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person gently. Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well.
Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.2Practice carrying each other's burdens. In this way you will fulfill the law of the Messiah.
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.3For if anyone thinks he is something when he is really nothing, he is only fooling himself.
But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.4Each person must examine his own actions, and then he can boast about his own accomplishments and not about someone else.
For each one will bear his own load.5For everyone must carry his own load.
The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.6The person who is taught the word should share all his goods with his teacher.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.7Stop being deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants:
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.8The person who sows through human means will harvest decay from human means, but the person who sows in the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit.
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.9Let's not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap a harvest—if we do not give up.
So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.10So then, whenever we have the opportunity, let's practice doing good to everyone, especially to the family of faith.
See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand.11Look at how large these letters are because I am writing with my own hand!
Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.12These people who want to impress others by their external appearance are trying to force you to be circumcised, simply to avoid being persecuted for the cross of the Messiah.
For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.13Why, not even those who are circumcised obey the Law! They simply want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your external appearance.
But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.14But may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world!
For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.15For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters. Rather, what matters is being a new creation.
And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.16Now may peace be on all those who live by this principle, and may mercy be on the Israel of God.
From now on let no one cause trouble for me, for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.17Let no one make any more trouble for me, because I carry the scars of Jesus on my own body.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brethren. Amen.18May the grace of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, be with your spirit, brothers! Amen.
