Psalm 108
NASB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995King James Bible
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
