Psalm 108
NASB Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995NET Bible
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1A song, a psalm of David. I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.
Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!
I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners!
For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4For your loyal love extends beyond the sky, and your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5Rise up above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth!
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6Deliver by your power and answer me, so that the ones you love may be safe.
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem, the valley of Succoth I will measure off.
"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8Gilead belongs to me, as does Manasseh! Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my royal scepter.
"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9Moab is my wash basin. I will make Edom serve me. I will shout in triumph over Philistia."
Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will bring me to Edom?
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.
Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12Give us help against the enemy, for any help men might offer is futile.
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13By God's power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.
