Psalm 108
NASB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!
Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2Wake up, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song.
I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3I will thank you, LORD, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.
For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.
That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power.
God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7God has promised this by his holiness : “I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.
"Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8Gilead is mine, and Manasseh, too. Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings.
"Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant, and I will wipe my feet on Edom and shout in triumph over Philistia.”
Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will bring me victory over Edom?
Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?
Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless.
Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes.
