A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king’s Son.1God, give your justice to the king and your righteousness to the king's son.
He will judge Your people with righteousness, And Your poor with justice.2He will judge your people with righteousness and your afflicted ones with justice.
The mountains will bring peace to the people, And the little hills, by righteousness.3May the mountains bring well-being to the people and the hills, righteousness.
He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.4May he vindicate the afflicted among the people, help the poor, and crush the oppressor.
They shall fear You As long as the sun and moon endure, Throughout all generations.5May they fear you while the sun endures and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers that water the earth.6May the king be like rain that falls on the cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.
In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.7May the righteous flourish in his days and well-being abound until the moon is no more.
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.8May he rule from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, And His enemies will lick the dust.9May desert tribes kneel before him and his enemies lick the dust.
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba Will offer gifts.10May the kings of Tarshish and the coasts and islands bring tribute, the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.
Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.11Let all kings bow in homage to him, all nations serve him.
For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper.12For he will rescue the poor who cry out and the afflicted who have no helper.
He will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy.13He will have pity on the poor and helpless and save the lives of the poor.
He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; And precious shall be their blood in His sight.14He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious in his sight.
And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.15May he live long! May gold from Sheba be given to him. May prayer be offered for him continually, and may he be blessed all day long.
There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.16May there be plenty of grain in the land; may it wave on the tops of the mountains. May its crops be like Lebanon. May people flourish in the cities like the grass of the field.
His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.17May his name endure forever; as long as the sun shines, may his fame increase. May all nations be blessed by him and call him blessed.
Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things!18Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonders.
And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.19Blessed be his glorious name forever; the whole earth is filled with his glory. Amen and amen.
