NKJV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionNew Living Translation
1A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”1The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”
2The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!2The LORD will extend your powerful kingdom from Jerusalem ; you will rule over your enemies.
3Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.3When you go to war, your people will serve you willingly. You are arrayed in holy garments, and your strength will be renewed each day like the morning dew.
4The LORD has sworn And will not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”4The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
5The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.5The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.
6He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.6He will punish the nations and fill their lands with corpses; he will shatter heads over the whole earth.
7He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.7But he himself will be refreshed from brooks along the way. He will be victorious.
