| 6And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. | 6And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. |

| 24And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. | 24The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the world will enter the city in all their glory. |
| 25Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). | 25Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there. |
| 26And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. | 26And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. |
| 27But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. | 27Nothing evil will be allowed to enter, nor anyone who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. |
