| 2Rescue me, O LORD, from liars and from all deceitful people. | 2Deliver me, O LORD, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. |
| 3O deceptive tongue, what will God do to you? How will he increase your punishment? | 3What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue? |

| 5How I suffer in far-off Meshech. It pains me to live in distant Kedar. | 5Woe to me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar! |
