| 2From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, | 2From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |
| 3for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. | 3For You have been a refuge for me, A tower of strength against the enemy. |
| 4Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings! Interlude | 4Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. |
