NLT Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationKing James Bible
O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer!1To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety,2From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.3For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings! Interlude4I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
For you have heard my vows, O God. You have given me an inheritance reserved for those who fear your name.5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
Add many years to the life of the king! May his years span the generations!6Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.
May he reign under God’s protection forever. May your unfailing love and faithfulness watch over him.7He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
Then I will sing praises to your name forever as I fulfill my vows each day.8So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
