One day Jesus said to his disciples, “There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting!1Jesus said to his disciples, "Stumbling blocks are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin.2It would be better for him to have a millstone tied around his neck and be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.
So watch yourselves! “If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive.3Watch yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”4Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him."
The apostles said to the Lord, “Show us how to increase our faith.”5The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"
The Lord answered, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you!6So the Lord replied, "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this black mulberry tree, 'Be pulled out by the roots and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
“When a servant comes in from plowing or taking care of sheep, does his master say, ‘Come in and eat with me’?7"Would any one of you say to your slave who comes in from the field after plowing or shepherding sheep, 'Come at once and sit down for a meal'?
No, he says, ‘Prepare my meal, put on your apron, and serve me while I eat. Then you can eat later.’8Won't the master instead say to him, 'Get my dinner ready, and make yourself ready to serve me while I eat and drink. Then you may eat and drink'?
And does the master thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? Of course not.9He won't thank the slave because he did what he was told, will he?
In the same way, when you obey me you should say, ‘We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’” Ten Healed of Leprosy10So you too, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say, 'We are slaves undeserving of special praise; we have only done what was our duty.'"
As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria.11Now on the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.
As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance,12As he was entering a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance,
crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”13raised their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us."
He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.14When he saw them he said, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they went along, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!”15Then one of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.
He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan.16He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus' feet and thanked him. (Now he was a Samaritan.)
Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?17Then Jesus said, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”18Was no one found to turn back and give praise to God except this foreigner?"
And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you. ” The Coming of the Kingdom19Then he said to the man, "Get up and go your way. Your faith has made you well."
One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, “When will the Kingdom of God come?” Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs.20Now at one point the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was coming, so he answered, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed,
You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you. ”21nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or 'There!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is in your midst."
Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see the day when the Son of Man returns, but you won’t see it.22Then he said to the disciples, "The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
People will tell you, ‘Look, there is the Son of Man,’ or ‘Here he is,’ but don’t go out and follow them.23Then people will say to you, 'Look, there he is!' or 'Look, here he is!' Do not go out or chase after them.
For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so it will be on the day when the Son of Man comes.24For just like the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
But first the Son of Man must suffer terribly and be rejected by this generation.25But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.26Just as it was in the days of Noah, so too it will be in the days of the Son of Man.
In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.27People were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage--right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
“And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building—28Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot, people were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building;
until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.29but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed.30It will be the same on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home.31On that day, anyone who is on the roof, with his goods in the house, must not come down to take them away, and likewise the person in the field must not turn back.
Remember what happened to Lot’s wife!32Remember Lot's wife!
If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it.33Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left.34I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. ”35There will be two women grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."

“Where will this happen, Lord?” the disciples asked. Jesus replied, “Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.”37Then the disciples said to him, "Where, Lord?" He replied to them, "Where the dead body is, there the vultures will gather."
