Psalm 103
NLT Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNew International Version
Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.1Of David. Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me.2Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits--
He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.3who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.4who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!5who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The LORD gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly.6The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel.7He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:
The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.8The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever.9He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;
He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.10he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.11For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.12as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.13As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.14for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die.15The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;
The wind blows, and we are gone— as though we had never been here.16the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children17But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children--
of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments!18with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
The LORD has made the heavens his throne; from there he rules over everything.19The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
Praise the LORD, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.20Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
Yes, praise the LORD, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will!21Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
Praise the LORD, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the LORD.22Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, my soul.
