1 Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come! And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe <i>unto him</i>, through whom they come! Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.
2 It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. It is better for him if a millstone is hung around his neck and he is thrown into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.
4 Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent, you must forgive him. and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.” And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.” Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. But the Lord said, “If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you. He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7 Which of you whose servant comes in from plowing or shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? “Will any one of you who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? “Now which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him after he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and recline <i>at the table</i> to eat’? “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’?
8 Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? On the contrary, will he not say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and <i>properly</i> clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink’? Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’?
9 Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told? Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. He does not thank the slave because he did the things which were commanded, does he? Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do?
10 So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty. So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’” So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. So you too, when you do all the things which were commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done <i>only</i> that which we ought to have done.’” So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11 While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee. On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. 19 Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well! And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.” And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. And He said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has made you well.” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
20 When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst. nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. nor will they say, ‘Look, here <i>it is!</i>’ or, ‘There <i>it is!</i>’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22 Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. And he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see <i>it</i>. 24 For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day. For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day. For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one <i>part</i> under heaven, shineth unto the other <i>part</i> under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.

34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: One will be taken and the other left. I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left.
