Good News Translation
And David also sent messengers to Ishbosheth to say, "Give me back my wife Michal. I paid a hundred Philistine foreskins in order to marry her."

Then David sent messengers to Saul’s son Ishbaal, saying, “Give me my wife Michal, to whom I became engaged at the price of one hundred foreskins of the Philistines.”

David sent a few of his officials to Ishbosheth to give him this message: "Give me back my wife Michal! I killed 100 Philistines so I could marry her."
