Good News Translation
When I make Egypt a desolate wasteland and destroy all who live there, they will know that I am the LORD.

When I make the land of Egypt desolate and when the land is stripped of all that fills it, when I strike down all who live in it, then they shall know that I am the LORD.

Egypt will become a barren wasteland, and no living thing will ever survive there. Then you and your people will know that I am the LORD.
