O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? why do you love vanity, and seek after lying?
Psalm 57:4 And he hath delivered my soul from the midst of the young lions. I slept troubled. The sons of men, whose teeth are weapons and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

1Unto the end, in verses. A psalm for David.  When I called upon him, the God of my justice heard me: when I was in distress, thou hast enlarged me. Have mercy on me: and hear my prayer. 2O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? why do you love vanity, and seek after lying?3Know ye also that the Lord hath made his holy one wonderful: the Lord will hear me when I shall cry unto him.…
But thou, O Lord, art my protector, my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
They have spoken vain things, every one to his neighbour: with deceitful lips, and with a double heart have they spoken.
Thou hast hated them that regard vanities, to no purpose. But I have hoped in the Lord:
Let deceitful lips be made dumb. Which speak iniquity against the just, with pride and abuse.
But they have thought to cast away my price; I ran in thirst: they blessed with their mouth, but cursed with their heart.
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
Thou knowest my reproach, and my confusion, and my shame.
