But You blew with Your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

The waters flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen--the entire army of Pharaoh that had chased the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.
The depths have covered them; they sank there like a stone.
Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His hands? Who has bound up the waters in His cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is the name of His Son--surely you know!
There they will proclaim, 'Pharaoh king of Egypt was all noise; he has let the appointed time pass him by.'
