I will establish My covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

as He promised to our fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever."
The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, "and to seeds," meaning many, but "and to your seed," meaning One, who is Christ.
Instead, they were longing for a better country, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
But I will establish My covenant with you, and you will enter the ark--you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you.
Whether they are born in your household or purchased, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh will be an everlasting covenant.
But God replied, "Your wife Sarah will indeed bear you a son, and you are to name him Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
and that night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for the sake of My servant Abraham."
And there at the top the LORD was standing and saying, "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you now lie.
I also established My covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land where they lived as foreigners.
I will take you as My own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
For I am the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will fulfill My covenant with you.
I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be My people.
But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their fathers, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am the LORD."
and so that He may establish you today as His people, and He may be your God as He promised you and as He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Now the Angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bochim and said, "I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land I had promised to your fathers, and I said, 'I will never break My covenant with you,
He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity; in My faithfulness I will give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them.
"At that time," declares the LORD, "I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be My people."
