What will you do on the day of reckoning when devastation comes from afar? To whom will you flee for help? Where will you leave your wealth?

what will I do when God rises to judge? How will I answer when called to account?
He lifts a banner for the distant nations and whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Behold--how speedily and swiftly they come!
Wail, for the Day of the LORD is near; it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
"In that day the splendor of Jacob will fade, and the fat of his body will waste away,
And on that day the dwellers of this coastland will say, 'See what has happened to our source of hope, those to whom we fled for help and deliverance from the king of Assyria! How then can we escape?'"
The dead will not live; the departed spirits will not rise. Therefore You have punished and destroyed them; You have wiped out all memory of them.
For behold, the LORD is coming out of His dwelling to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth will reveal her bloodshed and no longer conceal her slain.
you will be visited by the LORD of Hosts with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, with windstorm and tempest and flame of consuming fire.
everyone will be put to shame because of a people useless to them. They cannot be of help; they are good for nothing but shame and reproach.
Egypt's help is vain and empty; therefore I have called her, 'Rahab Who Just Sits Still.'
But the Egyptians are men, not God; their horses are flesh, not spirit. When the LORD stretches out His hand, the helper will stumble and the one he helps will fall; both will perish together.
And you, O devastated one, what will you do, though you dress yourself in scarlet, though you adorn yourself with gold jewelry, though you enlarge your eyes with paint? You adorn yourself in vain; your lovers despise you; they want to take your life.
Should I not punish them for these things? declares the LORD. Should I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?"
I will appoint destroyers against you, each man with his weapons, and they will cut down the choicest of your cedars and throw them into the fire.
What will you do on the appointed day, on the Day of the LORD's feast?
The days of punishment have come; the days of retribution have arrived--let Israel know it. The prophet is called a fool, and the inspired man insane, because of the greatness of your iniquity and hostility.
The best of them is like a brier; the most upright is sharper then a hedge of thorns. The day you post your watchmen, your punishment will come; then their confusion will arise.
