He said to his disciples, "Offenses will certainly come, but woe to the one through whom they come!1And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to stumble.2It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.
Be on your guard. If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.3Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him,
And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and comes back to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him."4and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."5The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
"If you have faith the size of a mustard seed," the Lord said, "you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.6And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
"Which one of you having a servant tending sheep or plowing will say to him when he comes in from the field, 'Come at once and sit down to eat'?7“Will any one of you who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’?
Instead, will he not tell him, 'Prepare something for me to eat, get ready, and serve me while I eat and drink; later you can eat and drink'?8Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
Does he thank that servant because he did what was commanded?9Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded?
In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, 'We are worthless servants; we've only done our duty.'"10So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’”
While traveling to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.11On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.
As he entered a village, ten men with leprosy met him. They stood at a distance12And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance
and raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"13and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”
When he saw them, he told them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And while they were going, they were cleansed.14When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed.
But one of them, seeing that he was healed, returned and, with a loud voice, gave glory to God.15Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice;
He fell facedown at his feet, thanking him. And he was a Samaritan.16and he fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.
Then Jesus said, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?17Then Jesus answered, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?
Didn't any return to give glory to God except this foreigner?"18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?”
And he told him, "Get up and go on your way. Your faith has saved you."19And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The kingdom of God is not coming with something observable;20Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed,
no one will say, 'See here!' or 'There!' For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst."21nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
Then he told the disciples: "The days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you won't see it.22And he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
They will say to you, 'See there!' or 'See here!' Don't follow or run after them.23And they will say to you, ‘Look, there!’ or ‘Look, here!’ Do not go out or follow them.
For as the lightning flashes from horizon to horizon and lights up the sky, so the Son of Man will be in his day.24For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
But first it is necessary that he suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.25But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man:26Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
People went on eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah boarded the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.27They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
It will be the same as it was in the days of Lot: People went on eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building.28Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,
But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all.29but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all—
It will be like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.30so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
On that day, a man on the housetop, whose belongings are in the house, must not come down to get them. Likewise the man who is in the field must not turn back.31On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back.
Remember Lot's wife!32Remember Lot’s wife.
Whoever tries to make his life secure will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.33Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.
I tell you, on that night two will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.34I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."35There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.”

"Where, Lord?" they asked him. He said to them, "Where the corpse is, there also the vultures will be gathered."37And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.”
