From the blue and purple and scarlet yarns they made finely woven garments, for ministering in the Holy Place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the LORD had commanded Moses.1Moreover, from the blue and purple and scarlet material, they made finely woven garments for ministering in the holy place as well as the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
He made the ephod of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen.2He made the ephod of gold, and of blue and purple and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen.
And they hammered out gold leaf, and he cut it into threads to work into the blue and purple and the scarlet yarns, and into the fine twined linen, in skilled design.3Then they hammered out gold sheets and cut them into threads to be woven in with the blue and the purple and the scarlet material, and the fine linen, the work of a skillful workman.
They made for the ephod attaching shoulder pieces, joined to it at its two edges.4They made attaching shoulder pieces for the ephod; it was attached at its two upper ends.
And the skillfully woven band on it was of one piece with it and made like it, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen, as the LORD had commanded Moses.5The skillfully woven band which was on it was like its workmanship, of the same material: of gold and of blue and purple and scarlet material, and fine twisted linen, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They made the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold filigree, and engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel.6They made the onyx stones, set in gold filigree settings; they were engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel.
And he set them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel, as the LORD had commanded Moses.7And he placed them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as memorial stones for the sons of Israel, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
He made the breastpiece, in skilled work, in the style of the ephod, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen.8He made the breastpiece, the work of a skillful workman, like the workmanship of the ephod: of gold and of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen.
It was square. They made the breastpiece doubled, a span its length and a span its breadth when doubled.9It was square; they made the breastpiece folded double, a span long and a span wide when folded double.
And they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle was the first row;10And they mounted four rows of stones on it. The first row was a row of ruby, topaz, and emerald;
and the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;11and the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire and a diamond;
and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;12and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold filigree.13and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were set in gold filigree settings when they were mounted.
There were twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They were like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes.14The stones were corresponding to the names of the sons of Israel; they were twelve, corresponding to their names, engraved with the engravings of a signet, each with its name for the twelve tribes.
And they made on the breastpiece twisted chains like cords, of pure gold.15They made on the breastpiece chains like cords, of twisted cordage work in pure gold.
And they made two settings of gold filigree and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two edges of the breastpiece.16They made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastpiece.
And they put the two cords of gold in the two rings at the edges of the breastpiece.17Then they put the two gold cords in the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece.
They attached the two ends of the two cords to the two settings of filigree. Thus they attached it in front to the shoulder pieces of the ephod.18They put the other two ends of the two cords on the two filigree settings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front of it.
Then they made two rings of gold, and put them at the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inside edge next to the ephod.19They made two gold rings and placed them on the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inner edge which was next to the ephod.
And they made two rings of gold, and attached them in front to the lower part of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, at its seam above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.20Furthermore, they made two gold rings and placed them on the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on the front of it, close to the place where it joined, above the woven band of the ephod.
And they bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, so that it should lie on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece should not come loose from the ephod, as the LORD had commanded Moses.21They bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it would be on the woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece would not come loose from the ephod, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
He also made the robe of the ephod woven all of blue,22Then he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue;
and the opening of the robe in it was like the opening in a garment, with a binding around the opening, so that it might not tear.23and the opening of the robe was at the top in the center, as the opening of a coat of mail, with a binding all around its opening, so that it would not be torn.
On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen.24They made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material and twisted linen on the hem of the robe.
They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe, between the pomegranates—25They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around on the hem of the robe,
a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate around the hem of the robe for ministering, as the LORD had commanded Moses.26alternating a bell and a pomegranate all around on the hem of the robe for the service, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They also made the coats, woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons,27They made the tunics of finely woven linen for Aaron and his sons,
and the turban of fine linen, and the caps of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of fine twined linen,28and the turban of fine linen, and the decorated caps of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twisted linen,
and the sash of fine twined linen and of blue and purple and scarlet yarns, embroidered with needlework, as the LORD had commanded Moses.29and the sash of fine twisted linen, and blue and purple and scarlet material, the work of the weaver, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription, like the engraving of a signet, “Holy to the LORD.”30They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and inscribed it like the engravings of a signet, "Holy to the LORD."
And they tied to it a cord of blue to fasten it on the turban above, as the LORD had commanded Moses.31They fastened a blue cord to it, to fasten it on the turban above, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the people of Israel did according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses; so they did.32Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was completed; and the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses; so they did.
Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its utensils, its hooks, its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;33They brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its furnishings: its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars and its sockets;
the covering of tanned rams’ skins and goatskins, and the veil of the screen;34and the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of porpoise skins, and the screening veil;
the ark of the testimony with its poles and the mercy seat;35the ark of the testimony and its poles and the mercy seat;
the table with all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;36the table, all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence;
the lampstand of pure gold and its lamps with the lamps set and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;37the pure gold lampstand, with its arrangement of lamps and all its utensils, and the oil for the light;
the golden altar, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance of the tent;38and the gold altar, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the veil for the doorway of the tent;
the bronze altar, and its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin and its stand;39the bronze altar and its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils, the laver and its stand;
the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;40the hangings for the court, its pillars and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords and its pegs and all the equipment for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
the finely worked garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for their service as priests.41the woven garments for ministering in the holy place and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.
According to all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work.42So the sons of Israel did all the work according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses.
And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the LORD had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them.43And Moses examined all the work and behold, they had done it; just as the LORD had commanded, this they had done. So Moses blessed them.
