NIV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionNew Living Translation
For the director of music. A song. A psalm. Shout for joy to God, all the earth!1Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!
Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.2Sing about the glory of his name! Tell the world how glorious he is.
Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.3Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power.
All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name."4Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.” Interlude
Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind!5Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!
He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot-- come, let us rejoice in him.6He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him.
He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations-- let not the rebellious rise up against him.7For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance. Interlude
Praise our God, all peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard;8Let the whole world bless our God and loudly sing his praises.
he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.9Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling.
For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver.10You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver.
You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.11You captured us in your net and laid the burden of slavery on our backs.
You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.12Then you put a leader over us. We went through fire and flood, but you brought us to a place of great abundance.
I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you--13Now I come to your Temple with burnt offerings to fulfill the vows I made to you—
vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.14yes, the sacred vows that I made when I was in deep trouble.
I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats.15That is why I am sacrificing burnt offerings to you— the best of my rams as a pleasing aroma, and a sacrifice of bulls and male goats. Interlude
Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.16Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me.
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.17For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;18If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.
but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.19But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.
Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!20Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.
