| 2The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, | 2As the kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers conspire together against the LORD and his anointed one, they say, |
| 3“Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.” | 3"Let us tear off their shackles from us, and cast off their chains." |
