Psalm 13
NLT Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNew American Standard Bible 1995
1O LORD, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way?1For the choir director. A Psalm of David. How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?
2How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?2How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?
3Turn and answer me, O LORD my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die.3Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; Enlighten my eyes, or I will sleep the sleep of death,
4Don’t let my enemies gloat, saying, “We have defeated him!” Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall.4And my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," And my adversaries will rejoice when I am shaken.
5But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.5But I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
6I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me.6I will sing to the LORD, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
