Psalm 13
NLT Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNET Bible
1O LORD, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way?1For the music director; a psalm of David. How long, LORD, will you continue to ignore me? How long will you pay no attention to me?
2How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? How long will my enemy have the upper hand?2How long must I worry, and suffer in broad daylight? How long will my enemy gloat over me?
3Turn and answer me, O LORD my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die.3Look at me! Answer me, O LORD my God! Revive me, or else I will die!
4Don’t let my enemies gloat, saying, “We have defeated him!” Don’t let them rejoice at my downfall.4Then my enemy will say, "I have defeated him!" Then my foes will rejoice because I am upended.
5But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.5But I trust in your faithfulness. May I rejoice because of your deliverance!
6I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me.6I will sing praises to the LORD when he vindicates me.
