Will it till the valleys behind you? | 10Can you bind him in the furrow with ropes, or will he harrow the valleys after you? | 10"Can you bind the wild ox in a furrow with ropes, Or will he harrow the valleys after you? | 10Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? | 10Can you hold the wild ox to a furrow by its harness? Will it plow the valleys behind you? |
| 11Will you rely on it for its great strength? Will you leave your heavy work to it? | 11Will you depend on him because his strength is great, and will you leave to him your labor? | 11"Will you trust him because his strength is great And leave your labor to him? | 11Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him? | 11Can you depend on it because its strength is great? Would you leave it to do your hard work? |
| 12Can you trust it to haul in your grain and bring it to your threshing floor? | 12Do you have faith in him that he will return your grain and gather it to your threshing floor? | 12"Will you have faith in him that he will return your grain And gather it from your threshing floor? | 12Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn? | 12Can you trust the wild ox to harvest your grain and bring it to your threshing floor? |
| 13"The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, though they cannot compare with the wings and feathers of the stork. | 13“The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, but are they the pinions and plumage of love? | 13"The ostriches' wings flap joyously With the pinion and plumage of love, | 13Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? | 13The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, but are her feathers and plumage like the stork's? |
| 14She lays her eggs on the ground and lets them warm in the sand, | 14For she leaves her eggs to the earth and lets them be warmed on the ground, | 14For she abandons her eggs to the earth And warms them in the dust, | 14Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, | 14She abandons her eggs on the ground and lets them be warmed in the sand. |
