But as for you, speak the things that are consistent with sound doctrine. But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: But as for you, proclaim the things which are fitting for sound doctrine. You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.
Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, and sound in faith, love, and perseverance. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.
Older women, likewise, are to be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers or addicted to much wine, but teachers of good. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.
In this way they can train the young women to love their husbands and children, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children,
to be self-controlled, pure, managers of their households, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be discredited. to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
In the same way, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.
In everything, show yourself to be an example by doing good works. In your teaching show integrity, dignity, Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness
and wholesome speech that is above reproach, so that anyone who opposes us will be ashamed to have nothing bad to say about us. and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us. and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
Slaves are to submit to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them,
not stealing from them, but showing all good faith, so that in every respect they will adorn the teaching about God our Savior. not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior. Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect. and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people, For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age, It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds. who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
Speak these things as you encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. These things speak and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. No one is to disregard you. These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you.
